The Indian plastics industry will converge at Plastivision India 2027, the International Plastics Exhibition and Conference, from 21–25 January 2027 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Organised by The All India Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA), Plastivision India 2027 is positioned as the #2 plastic trade show worldwide in 2027. It will bring together the entire plastics value chain—from raw materials and machinery to moulds, processing technology, finished products and services. India’s plastics industry comprises 94,000 processors, with production of ₹9 lakh crore (US$97 billion) and generates 5 million jobs With India’s per-capita plastic consumption at just 16 kg, compared with international average of 50 kg, the industry has significant potential for further growth. Plastivision India 2027 will feature 21 concurrent events and programmes, ensuring visitors gain value beyond the exhibition floor through technology discovery, knowledge-sharing, networking and business opportunities. Key themes include Sustainability Recycling, Automation Industry 4.0, Startups, MSMEs and International B2B engagement. 12th edition in December 2023 recorded 1,238 exhibitors from 20 countries and 234,000 business visitor footfalls from 400 towns and 84 countries, along with hosted buyers from 26 countries.
